The Dutch Microtonal Society organizes discussions and forums about microtonal music and assembles several times a year. Members also meet each other during microtonal activities, like concerts and lectures. Besides that, the members from the society want to stay involved by the Huygens-Fokker Foundation (which is, as a centre for microtonal music, the organizer of many microtonal activities in The Netherlands) by helping as a volunteer with projects on an individual basis. The society is supported administratively by the Friends of the Huygens-Fokker Foundation.
