Romanticism in meantone temperament


First organist of the Fokker organ (and rock in the microtonal surf) Ere Lievonen presents this morning the musical result of a multi-year research project of the Huygens-Fokker Foundation to perform romantic organ repertoire in meantone tuning, with the possibility to modulate through all the keys. All-rounder Ere Lievonen has the noble task to perform these special findings. The program includes works by famous nineteenth-century composers such as Anton Bruckner and César Franck.
