This does not mean at all that no performers are making their appearance during this concert. Guest musician Raymond Honing (flute) and Fokker organ player Ere Lievonen will perform striking work from the 18th century composer Charles Delusse and Reflexions Sonores of the Dutch composer Henri Carf (1899-1984), who composed this work in 1980 for flute and 31-tone organ. Additional, Ere Lievonen will perform new pieces for Fokker organ by Charles van Hemelryck (France, 1981) and Leo de Vries (1924) and a new version of an intriging work transcribed by Miranda Driessen. As a prelude to the Dutch celebration of Kings Day (April 27), the 7 variations on "Willem van Nassau" KV 25 (1766) from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will be performed - but this time in meantone tuning. Tickets can be reserved at the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.
