Hans Kox 80 years


To mark the eightieth birthday of composer Hans Kox the Huygens-Fokker Foundation organizes in cooperation with the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ an unique concert about Kox' complete 31-tone works. Because of his special musical relationship with professor Adriaan Fokker these works were composed by Hans Kox between the late fifties and mid-seventies. Besides other microtonal pieces organ player Ere Lievonen will play all the works of Hans Kox composed for the Fokker organ, namely the Larghetto, 3 epigrammen voor 31-toonsorgel and Passacaglia en Koraal.
